Mary Elizabeth "Betty" Westerfield

Mary Elizabeth ‘Betty’ Westerfield (nee Jensen) passed away April 23, 2022, three months shy of her 89th birthday. A loving mother, grandmother, aunt, niece, cousin and friend, Betty was a charming, intelligent, strong willed beauty. A voracious reader, she had a passion for English history and historical novels. Betty also loved crossword puzzles, musicals, travel, and sports. She was an ardent St. Louis Browns, Cardinals, Blues and Rams fan. Betty is survived by her daughter Terry Westerfield (Dominick Tamburo) of New Orleans, LA., son Kyle Westerfield (Emiko), grandsons Brendan Westerfield, Travis Westerfield and granddaughter Jordan Westerfield. Betty is also survived by her Aunt Agnes Tuepker, cousin Bernadel Brodie, nieces Becky Levin, Kathy Ballou, Betty Marler, nephew John Ruhmann, a host of other family, friends, and her 22-year old cat Cinder. Betty was preceded in death by her son and daughter-in-law Kent and Kathleen Westerfield, as well as her former husband of 42 years, Harlin ‘Buck’ Westerfield VISITATION: Monday, May 2, 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm, service 7:00 pm all at Buchholz Valley of Flowers Mortuary. 619 Rue St. Francois, Florissant, MO 63031.
