Schiffhauer, Marie Carmen (nee Fiore) passed away on November 29, 2017. Marie was born in Buffalo, New York to Fred and Beatrice Fiore on December 19, 1929. She graduated from D'Youville College to become a teacher, but her plans were thwarted when she met the love of her life, Joseph Schiffhauer. Together they proudly raised five children (and now have 10 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren), and lived the good life, traveling and enjoying the company of good friends. She was an avid bridge player, and discovered the joys of poker when she moved to Surprise, Arizona in retirement. It was her greatest wish to be reunited with Joe, who died in 2009. Services: Memorial Visitation Sunday, January 21, 3-6pm at BUCHHOLZ Mortuary West, 2211 Clarkson Road, Chesterfield. Mass Monday, January 22, 11am at Ascension Catholic Church, 230 Santa Maria, Chesterfield. Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
