November 1, 1956 - October 4, 2017

Annamarie "Ann/Annie" Hanlon (nee Bochantin), 60, of St. Louis, MO passed away on October 4, 2017 from Leukemia. Ann is survived by her husband, Steve; mother of Erin, Ryan, Patrick, and their dog Frankie; Sister Marialice (John) Duhadway, Anna (John Easton), Alicia (Chris) and Beth; Brother Stephen (Cindy) Bochantin, Matt (Jenna, Oliver), Grant, Ken (Linda) Bochantin, Amanda (Wesley); Cousin Maria (John Vuch), Jack, Hailey and Anna; Mother-in-Law MaryBeth Hanlon, Nancy Wohldmann, Tracy (Keith) Biermann, Jack, Molly and Maggie. Jeremy (Jody) Wohldmann, Samantha, Luke and Lucy. Donna (Tim) McGough, Joey (Leesa, Greyson) McGough, and Kelly. Danny (Cecilia) Hanlon, Taylor. Jeffrey (Rochelle) Hanlon, Shawn, Garrett, Brennen, and Ashley; Niece Brittney Rufkahr. Matt (Kelly) Hanlon, Maxwell and Sophie. Casey Hanlon and many loving friends. Ann is preceded in death by her father, Clarence and her mother Evelyn Bochantin; her father-in-law, Donald Hanlon, sister-in-law, Cynthia Hanlon and brother-in-law, Gene Wohldmann. Anna was born in St. Louis on November 1, 1956. She graduated from Rosary High School and continued to receive a bachelor degree from the University of Missouri, St. Louis. Anna was married to Steven R. Hanlon on April 17, 1982 and were married for 35 wonderful years. Ann worked for Schnucks for 38 years. She enjoyed working with the public and with her co-workers at all the various stores she worked. She earned a scholarship to college playing field hockey and continued playing softball well into her 40's. Her strength was tested time and again. Ann survived Breast Cancer twice and was living with Huntington's Disease when she was finally diagnosed with Leukemia. Never once did her spirit waver. In her final week, she was surrounded by family and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Huntington's Disease Society of America or the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. The family wishes to thank the Oncology Department at Barnes Jewish Hospital and the staff at Evelyn's House. SERVICES: Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 10, 2017 from 3pm-8pm at Buchholz Spanish Lake Mortuary, 1645 Redman Ave., St. Louis, MO 63138. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at 10am at Holy Name of Jesus, 10235 Ashbrook Drive, St. Louis, MO 63137. On-line guestbook at www.buchholzmortuary.com.
