Ann Marie Dvorak
August 17, 1925 - March 18, 2022
Ann Marie Dvorak (nee Boland) was baptized into Christ’s Resurrection, Friday March 18th, 2022. Cherished wife of William Charles Dvorak for 77 wonderful years. Loving mother of Mary Claire Gorman and Stephen Dvorak (Connie Risby); beloved grandma of Claire Marie Gorman, Charles Patrick Gorman, and Kyle William Gorman; former mother-in-law of Terry Gorman and grandmother-in-law of Katie Joyce. Dearest Aunt Annie of many nephews, nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces. Ann was preceded in death by her loving parents William and Annie Boland (nee Runzi), and her dear sisters Martha (George) Fritsche and Ethyl (Bill) Coleman and brothers John (Mary) Boland and Robert Boland. As a longtime parishioner of St. Aloysius in Spanish Lake, Ann was an RCIA catechist and member of the Women’s Club. An avid swimmer, she taught countless children and adults the joy of the sport. During her time at St. Catherine’s retirement community she enjoyed sewing comfort items for orphaned children. Serious only when she needed to be, she was a light-hearted and whimsical soul. Above all she was a devoted wife to her cherished sweetheart, Bill, a loving and adored mother to her two children, and truly beloved by and a best friend to each of her grandchildren. Visitation will be held Thursday 3/24 from 4-8PM at Buchholz Valley of Flowers Mortuary in Florissant, Missouri. A funeral mass will commence at St. Rose Philippine Duchesne on Friday 3/25 at 10AM. Internment will take place at Calvary Cemetery following mass.
